This pages captures some images from the second largest snowfall I had witnessed in my many years in Colorado. This snowstorm came occurred on March 18, 2003 and went on constantly for another 2 days. When it was finished, there was no way we could have dug out by hand, it was a wet spring snow, and over 3 feet were deposited everywhere around us. Luckily the county plowed the road with a road grader (it was too deep for a dumptruck snow plow), and another neighbor helped dig out our driveway.
This storm was second to the one that occurred in October 24-26, 1997. I ended up with 8 ft drifts in front of garage! National Weather service page for that one.
