Olive Garden-style Breadsticks
Source: Custom
2-3/4 to 3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon, or 1 packet dry yeast
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1-1/4 cups warm water
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon granulated garlic, or garlic salt

Combine 1-1/2 cups of flour, the yeast, sugar and salt into your mixing bowl. Add the water and oil and blend with the doughhook until it turns into a smooth batter. Add flour a tablespoon at a time until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl leaving a clean surface.

Grease your cookie sheets. Divide your dough into two or more balls. Take each ball in turn and roll it out with a rolling pin to about 1/2-inch thick and 8-inches wide. Using a pizza cutter, split the rolled dough into strips about 3/4-inch wide. Transfer these strips to the cookie sheets.

Now brush the tops of the breadsticks with olive oil. Sprinkle the tops of the sticks with granulated garlic. Note: I also like to sprinkle Italian Seasoning, or sometimes just basil on top!

Let rise for 45 minutes to an hour. Bake in 400°F oeven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until lightly browned.
