Book Table

Shortly after getting married, my wife told me that her mother had always wanted a small table to sit between two particular doors in her house. That sounded like a good hint for a future project, so I set about designing something appropriate.

This was one of the first projects I did where I designed everything from scratch. Looking back at it now I can criticize the styling and some of the construction techniques. At the time however I was very proud of it!

It is made of cherry with a finish of Watco Danish Oil and Satin Wax.
