Exercise Step

The project used some recovered mahogany that had originally been bookshelves. It is used for a step as used in Step Arobics.

The step is about seven inches high, twenty-four inches wide and fourteen inches deep. The center is reinforced with a cross-brace (barely visible under the front edge of the top).

The finish used is orange shellac with a water-based polyurathane top coat for durability.
