Endowment

    MISSION:
To live in and demonstrate Christ's love by nourishing a faith community
and intentionally sharing Christ's love with others.

Current ministries and activities:

The Church of Christ the King Endowment Trust Fund is a trust used for the benefit of the Parish and parish Outreach Programs. The Endowment Committee's purpose is to invest and manage all endowments and undesignated bequests received by the Parish and to increase the level of awareness about the many ways charitable contributions can be made to Christ the King. Our endowment funds are invested primarily through the Colorado Episcopal Foundation, which has as investment vehicles:
  • a collective investment fund (mutual fund compised of stocks, bonds)
  • a pooled cash fund (money market account)
The income earned by the endowment funds may be used by the Parish in accordance with our By-laws.

The King's Legacy Society

The King’s Legacy Society was established in 2004 to enable parishioners to remember Christ the King as a beneficiary in their will, and/or through present gifts such as Charitable Gift Annuities. One of the greatest rewards experienced by individuals who have left a permanent gift to their church is in knowing that their final plans reflected their commitment to stewardship of God’s gifts to them. In addition, their witness raises awareness in their congregations of how planned giving impacts the future life and ministry of their church.
