Christ the King

The Outreach Team supports the following outreach projects:

• Three Bishop's Fund for Haiti (Colorado Haiti Project) - financial help as well as the collection of goods to support a church, preschool and primary school and a women's training center in Haiti.
• St. Clare's Table - providing meals to the homeless and poor
• Interchurch ARMS - a coalition of Arvada churches working to aid individuals and families in need of short-term help with housing, heating bills, food, medical needs, etc.
• Interfaith Family Shelter - providing food and hospitality for homeless families.
• Peck Elementary School - volunteering in the school, collecting and donating school supplies at the beginning of the school year, and serving as an emergency shelter for Peck students..
• Turkey Shoot - food ingathering to provide Thanksgiving dinners for the Arvada Shelter as well as families from Peck Elementary.
• Advent Book Table - providing parishioners with rich resources and Christmas gifts while raising funds to continue the good work of the Outreach Team.

Many other projects have been supported by the Outreach Team. We welcome anyone who would like to join our team for the planning of our monthly outreach projects, and we remain grateful for the strong support so many CTK's members give us for these projects.

The Outreach Team meets the first Sunday of each month between services, in the Family Room.
