Stewardship is everything
I say and do, after I say, “I believe!”
All we have and all
we are come from God. We fulfill the purpose for which we were created
when we offer our lives, energies, and blessings to God in return.
We actually possess nothing, but we simply manage our lives for
God. How we do it determines what kind of stewards we are.Pledging:
Christian discipleship assumes one will cheerfully and faithfully
give to God by giving to the local Church. The amount of one’s
pledge is between oneself and God, but the tithe (ten percent of
one’s income) is the Biblical standard. The clergy and vestry
affirm the tithe as the standard for this Parish. For information
about percentage giving, parish budget, and pledge forms, see the
stewardship information in the narthex, or contact the church office.
We are also encouraged to use our time and talent for the Lord and
the furthering of God’s Kingdom through the Church.
