| 1. | Create a Maze Dungeon card to be shuffled into the deck as follows: "In the corner of the current room (or corridor) that you are in, you find a trapdoor. Opening the door, you see stairs leading down into the darkness. At the foot of the stairs, you find passages leading in several directions." It takes two moves to reach the foot of the stairs and the first junction of the maze.
The maze is represented by the original HeroQuest board, or by any
approximation that you can create, featuring passages and rooms which
may or may not have entrances. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| 1. | When you have found the stairs leading down to the next level, the maze has been completed. |
| 2. | If you want to increase your chances of finding treasure in the maze, use the optional "HeroQuest Furniture for Warhammer Quest" rules, published separately. |
