It is = a group of rules to use in the Dungeon, it improves the different = possibilities in a dungeon....just read ahead... BTW : I'll include updates and add-on's tomorrow... DRK - DUNGEON REPLACMENT KIT - EDITION 1 **************************************** These rules overwrite the current dungeon rules. If something clashes = then email me and I'll fix it. When going in a dungeon ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When your Warrior first enters a dungeon room, he will move onto a = square where he will stand for the remainder of his turn while he fights = etc. When your Warrior has moved on to this square he must roll on a = 'Dungeon Events Table', each dungeon room has their own group of Dungeon = Events Table. The Dungeon Events Table tells the Warrior what has = happened once he has stopped in that square, if monsters are going to = attack him, if there is something lying on the ground, if he activates a = trap etc.=20 When rolling on the Dungeon Events table you must roll a D66 to see what = happens, each posibility (number) has a description of what happens and = a couple of numbers below that, they are: Monster Value Trap Value Treasure Value Object Value Each of these sections will contain a number between 1 and 6, they are = the various values to determine whether certain things will happen, = below is a description of each. MONSTER VALUE You must roll a D6, if you get over the value shown then you are going = to be attacked by monster's. To do this look at the Being Attacked = section. TRAP VALUE You must roll a D6, if you get over the value shown then you have = activated a trap. To see how this happens look at the Activating Traps = section. TREASURE VALUE You must roll a D6, if you get over the value shown then you have found = an item of treasure, you must roll on a treasure table to see what = treasure you have found. OBJECT VALUE You must roll a D6, if you get over the value shown then there is an = object near you, you must roll on the Dungeon Room's Object Table. You = can do numerous things to this object, to see how to do this then look = at the Investigating Objects section. Below those values you will see another section which says, "Special = Rules". These are the special rules regarding the event which you have = rolled, there's not always any special rules regarding the event. Being Attacked ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When your Warrior is attacked by monsters you must take your Battle = Level's worth of D6 dice and roll them, add the numbers together and = this is the amount of monster's attacking you, you must roll this amount = of times under the Dungeon Room's Monster Deck.=20 Each dungeon room has their own Dungeon Room Monster Deck, this is a = list of monster's which might attack you while in the Dungeon Room. Activating Traps ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If your Warrior activates a trap then you must roll under the Trap Table = for that Dungeon Room, the rules for each trap are shown on the Trap = Table.=20 Investigating Objects ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you find an object on the floor you can investigate it if you want, = when you do this then you must roll on the object's Event Table to see = what happens or what you find. You then take the monster's initiative (and minus your initiative) and = roll under it on a D6, if you are able to do this then the monster at = the last minute got out of the way and you missed the hit. If you (after all that!) hit the Monster then you must take your = Strength and minus: > The Monster's Toughness > Any armour he is wearing > Any other modifiers and add: > A D6 amount The number you then get is the amount of wounds which you have caused on = the monster, you minus this amount from his wounds and these are the = wounds he has left, if you minus the wounds and the monster's wounds go = below 1 then the monster is killed. Sometimes (depending on the wounds) it could take many turns to kill a = monster or you could kill it straight out! Killing a Monster ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When killing a monster outright then your Warrior receives the amount of = gold which the monster is worth. If more than one Warrior participated = in the death of the monster then the amount of gold must be split = between the warriors, if there is an amount left over then that amount = goes to the warrior who killed the monster. Eg. If you have two warriors who participated in the death of a Golem, = and the golem is worth 313, then the first warrior (who didn't kill the = monster) get's 156 gold and the other warrior (who killed the monster) = get's 157 gold. Quest Event Table ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ After every warrior has had their turn you must roll on a Quest Event = Table to see how the actual quest progresses onwards, every adventure = (Campaign) has it's own Quest Event Table for every Dungeon Room, so = whenever the Warriors are in a corridor you must roll on the Corridor = Quest Event Table and so on. Enter a new Dungeon ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Whenever the Warriors want to enter a new dungeon room the leader (or = the Warrior with the lamp) goes first, you must then roll on the Dungeon = Table to see which Dungeon you will enter, you then place the floor = board for the Dungeon you rolled on. Fighting - Advanced ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When your Warrior is higher than the monster/person he is fighting then = he gains a +2 to his to-hit roll, and the monster suffers a -2 to-hit = roll. When your Warrior is lower than the monster/person he is fighting then = he suffers a -2 from his to-hit roll, and the monster gains a +2 to-hit = roll.
