Date: Thu, 22 Jan 1998 16:03:32 -0500 From: Peter Ellis Subject: The Warhammer Quest Seaport Sorry this is so late in coming.OK, here goes- A warrior may go to a seaport instead of going to a city, town, etc. It takes 6+D3 weeks to get to the Seaport.The Seaport counts as a city for living expenses and stock rolls and so on. A warrior may spend a day in the Harbour if they want. Roll on the HARBOUR EVENTS table. HARBOUR EVENTS 11-13 Gone Fishing : roll on the OCEAN EVENTS table. 14-16 Captain : roll on the CAPTAINS table 17-23 Ol' Sea Dog : roll on the CAPTAINS table with a +1 bonus. 24 Pirate : roll on the CAPTAINS table. You also set off to become pirates( only if you want).This only makes a difference if you roll " Accused of Piracy " 25-31 Uneventful Day 32 Accused of Piracy : if you are a pirate roll a D6- 1: caught and hung,2-6: evade capture and leave the settlement.If you are not a pirate you must spend 2 days in the BRIG while your name is cleared. 33-36 Customs : add up the value of your gold and treasure and divide the result by ten. This is the amount of gold that you lose.Round fractions down. 41-43 Captain : roll on the CAPTAINS table. 44-51 Fallen in the docks : puts you out of action for D6 days in which you can do nothing, and not pay living expenses. 52-55 Boarding Pass : treat this as a result of 6 on the CAPTAINS table.On a roll of 1,2,or 3 the party is arrested and put in the BRIG for D6 days. 56-62 Plauge Rat : the next time you board a ship roll a D6 : 1-the crew are killed by a disease ( the party is fine, though.) 2-your warrior survives the ordeal. 63-66 Uneventful Day THE BRIG 1 Deported : Your warrior is moved to a special location.roll a D6: 1-he is deported and never seen again. 2-he escapes his fate and remains in the brig. 2 Bad food! : deduct 2 wounds from the warriors stats for the next adventure. 3 Cat-o'-Nine Tails : suffer -1 toughness for the next adventure. Treat any further rolls of 3 as the chain gang. 4-5 Chain Gang : you spend the day in the chain gang, making big rocks into little rocks. 6 Traesur Map : upon completion of the next adventure your warrior gains an additional 1D6x100 gold. CAPTAINS TABLE 1 Sorry, Mate : you must leave the settlement and start the next adventure. 2 Cap'n Bob : the journey takes D6+6 months. On a roll of uneventful month you must stop and begin the next adventure. 3 Scurvy Pete : the journey will take D6+3 months. at the end of the trip each warrior must roll a D6 : 1- Scurvy Pete has stoled a random item of treasure. 2: nothing is stolen. 4 Blackbeard : roll a D6 : 1-3: the journey takes 3D6 months,4-6: the journey takes D6 months. 5 Captain Cook : the journey takes 2D6 months. Each roll on the Ocean Event may be re-rolled once. 6 Lord Admiral Kruegar : you get paid 50 gold for each Ocean Event you roll. The journey takes D6 months. I will finish this list tomorrow.
