If you are comming from Cashapampa and using mules,
this is where you will camp the first night. The mule drivers won't go
any further, and by the time you get here you'll be ready to camp anyway.
As with all designated camps along the Santa Cruz trek, and in many other
places in Huascaran National Park, there are outhouses here. If you get
here early enough, look next to the hillside for campsites with minimal
mule dung. Here you get your first glimpse at the spectacular peaks to
come.
