Groups
- Youth Group
- The SEAS Youth Group is a spirituality-focused group that is open
to youth of all faith backgrounds. Participants are expected to be open-minded,
helpful and compassionate towards others, thus allowing the development of our
love of God, our Church, and one another. The youth group offers many
opportunities to get involved.
- Sunday youth meetings are focused on spirituality and developing
a sense of how faith in God translates to day-to-day living. There is
opportunity for socializing and games, in-depth discussion, and prayer. A
different topic, chosen by the youth council, is the point of focus for each
week. Sunday meetings are in Seton Hall from 7-9 pm for grade 7 and up.
- Another regular youth activity is Dead Theologian's Society on
Wednesdays from 7-9, which is a unique opportunity to learn about the lives of
the saints. Youth are also involved as readers, greeters, musicians, and
Eucharistic ministers at Youth Mass at 11:30 on Sundays. Our youth are not only
involved in weekly activities; over the next year the youth group will attend
retreats and conferences such as Steubenville of the Rockies, spend time on
service projects in a variety of capacities, and get together for purely social
trips and activities.
- RCIA
- The Rite of Christian Initiation for
Adults is a series of classes and spiritual development for people who
are interested in joining the Catholic Church. Classes are weekly on Tuesday
evenings from September through Easter, including a few Saturday retreats. If
you are interested in joining the Church, acting as a sponsor, or learning more
about our Catholic faith through this program, please contact
the office at 226-1303. More information
is available on the RCIA
webpage.
- The Families of Nazareth Movement
- The
Families of Nazareth Movement (FNM) is a meeting place for those who
have already found God and for those embroiled in the many battles
of today. The Movement is universal and there is room in it for everyone:
families and single people, priests and religious, youth, children and the
sick. On our way to holiness we try to imitate Jesus growing up in Nazareth
under the authority of His Mother, Our Blessed Mother. For more
information contact Denise at
dabell_57@comcast.net.
- NOAH
- "Not Otherwise Attached and Happy". NOAH is a singles
group for singles of all ages -18 to 108 - who are separated, divorced,
widowed, or have never been married. This group provides a variety of social,
spiritual, and service activities. Many activities are adult only, but some
include children, all in a non-dating, Christian atmosphere. We are open to all
Christian Singles in the northern Front Range Area. Many activities are planned
each month. Watch the bulletin or Denver Catholic Register for events or come
to the NOAH
message board. To contact us directly call Paula at 970-218-1141 or e-mail us at NOAH_singles@worldnet.att.net

Pastoral Council
The Pastoral Council at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish is an
eleven-member group representing a cross section of parish ministries and
parishioners as a whole. The Council acts as an advisory and consultative board
for the Pastor on such issues as long term planning for growth of the parish,
capital projects, community involvement and interactivity, parish and ministry
issues and on other issues affecting the pastoral life of the parish.
With the exception of the Pastor, the Staff representative, and the
Youth representative, all members serve a three-year term. The Staff and Youth
representatives serve a one-year term. Each year, three members rotate off the
Council and are replaced by three new individuals representing the respective

Our Mission Statement reads:

Ministries
To the current Liturgical Ministers: Thank you for volunteering
as a Liturgical Minister. All who serve at the Eucharistic Celebration do so
much to enhance its prayerfulness and beauty, whether as altar server, usher,
proclaimer or eucharistic minister. PLEASE BE FAITHFUL IN MEETING THE
RESPONSIBILITY YOU HAVE BEEN SCHEDULED FOR. We had several absences the weekend
of 8 November and the Mass does not run smoothly when that happens. Please
check the website for your scheduled time to serve, mark it on your calendar,
and come early so we know you are here and so we can pray together. (Paper
copies are available for those who do not have computer access, beneath the
Liturgical Ministers Bulletin Board.)
The schedule for the Liturgical Ministers is available on-line for the
following dates:
It is important that everyone understand the schedule is run on the 25th
of each month, one month out, e.g. July's schedule will be run on May 25
with the goal of getting it on the web by the first of every month. If
you have away dates, vacations etc, that you have advance notice of,
please
email
Jeannie Hoffmann or
call 667-5548.
- Proclaimers
- At the mandatory annual meeting, new and existing proclaimers are
trained to present the scriptures to the assembly, in a clear and inspiring
way. Proclaimers are also urged to engage in Bible Study and Spiritual readings
so that they might have a confident understanding of what they are proclaiming
to the people of God.

Fr. Larry.
- Eucharistic Ministers
- These ministers are entrusted with bearing the body and blood of
Jesus Christ to their sisters and brothers in faith. All the elements of the

blood of Christ and become one with all present in the Body of Christ.

Fr. Larry.
- Hospital Eucharistic Ministers
- The purpose of the hospital Eucharistic Ministers is to give

difference in a person's life makes this ministry both fulfilling and
rewarding. This is truly a feel good ministry!

of the worshiping assembly. Their presence, conversation and actions speak a
genuine desire to enhance the Eucharistic Celebration for all present.
