information about what is going on with the Youth group, but most of the
web activity for the youth is in the Yahoo! group dedicated to them.

CalendarClick here to see the Youth calendar Youth ActivitiesYouth Choir is an opportunity for instrumentalists and vocalists of any ability level to participate in the Liturgy of the church. Currently, the group focuses on contemporary worship and praise music and is continuously expanding to include a variety of other types of music. Youth grades 6-12 currently practice Wednesday evenings at 6:00 and sing at the Saturday evening, 5:00p.m. Mass. Confirmation at St. Elizabeth's is a two year program designed for 9th and 10th grade students who are already baptized and have made their First Communion and have received the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Classes meet Wednesday evenings at 7:00p.m. from September through May. Students are required to attend a retreat, participate in the life of the parish and have a desire to become a fully initiated member of the Catholic community. World Religions provides 11th and 12th grade students who have already been confirmed the opportunity to further develop an understanding of their Catholic faith. Students will examine the major world religions of Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, as well as mainstream Protestantism and religions with American roots. Classes meet Sunday mornings at 11:00 September-May. More information can be obtained by calling the parish office at 226-1303. Jr. High Youth Group is an opportunity for young people to gather for fellowship, fun and the opportunity to examine what it means to be Catholic. Retreats and the planning of service projects and social events are a part of the Thursday evening meetings. For meeting dates and special activity requirements, please check the youth calendar. Sr. High Youth Group further supports young people grades 9-12 in their Christian walk. Guest speakers, music, games and fellowship are a part of the regular Thursday evening meetings. Other service projects, retreats and social events can be found on a regular basis. Youth of any denomination are welcome as are friends. Meeting dates and times can be found on the youth calendar. Table Talks are open to all youth of the parish after the Saturday evening Mass once each month. Youth gather to attend the youth mass and then eat dinner, play pool and fellowship. Specific dates can be found on the youth calendar. Vigil and Praise is a night of intense praise and worship before the Blessed Sacrament. On a monthly basis, youth visit the Seminary in Denver and grab some grub. Space is limited and the rewards are out of this world. Plan to join us. Date Night is a regularly scheduled opportunity for the youth of the parish to offer their babysitting services so parents of young children can have an evening of leisure. Once each month on Friday evenings from 5:00-9:00 youth will feed, entertain and nurture your child. Babysitting is offered free of charge but donations will be accepted. All proceeds go toward youth activities. Community Service opportunities are available for all youth even if they do not attend youth group. Projects include food drives, Habitat for Humanity and serving meals at the Mission.
