Glimpse a Bananafish

This is a rare glimpse of the elusive bananafish, in its native habitat. It looks like a combination fish, octopus, and banana creature. Perhaps it is a Hawaiian delicacy? (Let me know.)

A Perfect Day for Bananafish is a short story in J.D. Salinger's book, Nine Stories. However, this is not what the characters describe: this bananafish doesn't eat bananas, it is part banana.
I created this on my computer using this invented bananafish, and some of the pattern and coloring found on these fish which might be real bananafish. I worked with image software, PaintShop Pro, by Jasc Software.
