Physical: Chubby is an orange tabby cat with brownish stripes.  He is about 10 lbs.  He has eyes that match his fur.  No, he is not fat, but I understand why his name may confuse you.  Once again, I repeat, he is not fat.  He also has teeth that could tear an elephant in half (not really, but it's called "Use your imagination"). 

What it eats: The average Chub eats one serving of "gooey" food every day for breakfast.  At lunch Chubs eats about a teaspoon for tuna; no more, or he might start living up to his name.  Later, Chubby usually gets awarded nice "treats", which consist of stuff that we sure wouldn't eat.  But Chubs likes them.

How much it sleeps: Chubs usually sleeps more of the day than he doesn't.  He sleeps between breakfast and lunch (unless catmom is doing something interesting), and between lunch and about 6:00.  Then he checks out what everyone is doing.  He also sleeps some at night.

What it does: Chubby does lots of things: bite the catboy, play with the tail toy, eat, sleep, run, flop, and sleep.

How the name originated: Well, we got Chubs from catdad's college professor.  They brought Chubs to our house in October 2000.  The girl who was carrying the orange cat said his name was "Chubs".  Me and my dad were confused, as this cat wasn't fat at all.  She said they named him Chubs because he was the biggest cat from the litter.  The name just stuck.
