During the period 1970-1988 I went on many kayaking trips and expeditions in Poland mostly with my brother Piotr. Thousands of kilometers down and up rivers and across lakes, many kilometers of land portages. Some of our favorite rivers: Czarna Hancza, Biebrza, Narew, Brda, Wda, Gwda, Pilawa, Zbrzyca, Drawa, Drweca, Wel, Dunajec, San.

We used two double folding kayaks "Neptun" produced in Poland (they are known abroad sometimes under names "Niewiadow" or "Predom"). The one with a red deck was bought in 1970 with sail rigging and the blue deck one about 10 years later. These kayaks are not made any more.

My photography equipment at that time was rather primitive as well my technique. Nevertheless, I am attempting to scan some of these old slides which are rapidly deteriorating with time.
