Night Storm

I am sorting my pictures from the last year and as a result I posted a series of pictures of a night thunderstorm shot in August from my backyard.

It was a distant storm about 30 miles NE from Fort Collins. There was no single sound, just a spectacular lightning, mostly between clouds. I used my digital Canon EOS 10D on a tripod, set up at ISO 800 and long exposures from 4 to 10 seconds. More pictures and radar map on my CSU pages.
