Adventure Sports Magazine writes about Texas Water Safari


Texas Water Safari
The recent issue of Adventure Sports Magazine (September 2005) features a short article on Texas Water Safari together with results from the 2005 race. The article is illustrated with my picture taken at the start line just a few minutes before the start.

During this year race I carried waterproof Pentax Optio WP camera on board of my X-treme safari canoe. My TWS'05 photo report was created from the pictures shot by me during the race from the river and by my team captain, Connie, from the shore. The Pentax camera survived the 260 mile (69 hour) race without any problems despite of being wet most of the time at the bottom of my boat. It is just one of my cameras, but this is my main paddling one.
