Scouting San Marcos River: Westerfield-Martindale


The last short paddling on San Marcos before Texas Water Safari from Westerfield crossing to Spencer Campground at Mardindale. The river was quite high with a lot of waves on rapids. I run Old Mill Rapid in the middle and portaged Cottonseed Rapid over the old dam. The day was not so hot as yesterday and it was a nice paddling.
