to Paddle, The Paddler's Guide to Strength and Conditioning by Rocky
Snyder, 2003, 160 pages. The book
provide a paddling sport specific conditioning program including flexibility,
endurance and strength training, medicine ball and stability training. There are
also sample workout programs. The exercises can be performed at home, at the gym
or on water. The book can help to prevent injuries, especially, those caused be
overexertion. This is a good resource for all recreational and competitive
paddlers. I am using this book and included several described exercises to my
training. Not a bad investment at $10.17.
