| MDPC Assault Carbine
The MDPC Assault Carbine is the primary weapon for the boarding teams. The blaster model is a Sorosuub Quicksnap Carbine, normally carried on a shoulder strap. An optional top folding stock adds +1D to hit after one round of aiming. The weapons are very durable, with reinforced durasteel barrels and plasteel coated cases. Each carbine has an underslung mount for a New Republic SpecForces standard issue vibroblade. The vibroblade is used as a bayonet in combat, and saves the boarders the hassle of switching weapons. The carbines also feature a side hardpoint for attaching a small luma.

| BlasTech DL-18 Blaster Pistol
The BlasTech DL-18 blaster pistol is the MDPC standard issue weapon. Each crew member is assigned a personal sidearm, although the blasters are usually stored in each section's weaponry locker. Individuals are expected to practice regularly on the shipboard blaster range, and are responsible for the maintenance of their personal weapon. Crew members may check their weapon out of a locker at any time, but they are required to log its removal. Each weapons locker has room for up to thirty sidearms and ten rifles, which lock in place. The locks may be released by the appropriate ID card for personal weapons, or by a master switch for more urgent situations. Weapons lockers also contain blast helmets and any extra reinforced leather jackets. All lockers are equipped with small data terminals for logging a crewer's ID number when they check out their personal weapon.

| New Republic SpecForces Special Edition Vibroblade
As mentioned above, the MDPC boarders favor the special edition version of the New Republic SpecForces vibroblade. This particular model features a self sharpening sheath and a protected knuckle grip. The sheath has an auto-activation trigger, so if the vibroblade is drawn any faster than a casual speed, the weapon will automatically power up. These vibroblades also have a sliding clip for mounting on an assault carbine. The vibroblade will release when enough pressure is exerted in the finger holds, so the weapon will not come off accidentally.

| Laserhone "Talon" Vibrodagger
The Laserhone "Talon" Vibrodagger is a rugged, high quality weapon issued to all non-boarder MDPC personnel. The Talon is virtually silent, and doubles as a useful cutting tool for crew members. Its comfortable grip and self-sharpening sheath make it an excellent vibroweapon, and it came highly recommended by the Quarren ex-marines. The Werbol gunners are particularly fond of the Talons, wielding two of the daggers simultaneously. The small crustaceans are rather adept with their four armed fighting technique, using one weapon to stab and slash, and the other dagger to parry attacks.

| Stun Baton
The stun baton is an effective weapon of crowd control, and can render even a Wookie sized opponent unconscious with a single blow. Eight electrical shock filaments run the length of the club's striking surface, which can deliver stopping power close a blaster rifle set on stun. The MDPC's boarding teams are issued stun batons, although if they are suddenly pressed into close combat, the marines are far more likely to use their vibroblades, which are already mounted on their carbines. However, stun batons are easier to manage, produce quick results, and can be used on civilians with far less danger of injury or death. Aside from the boarders, the Werbol gunners also have slightly shortened versions of stun batons, which they owned before joining the MDPC. They use these weapons for full contact practice, and frequently knock each other unconscious. The gunners are also fond of practicing with paired blaster pistols set on full stun. Despite the powerful shocks they receive, the MDPC's medical droid has thus far been puzzled to discover that the Werbols apparently suffer no permanent neurological damage from striking each other with full powered stun blasts. Among the Quarren marines, it is held as common opinion that the Werbols probably don't have enough brain cells left to suffer any additional injury, and that's probably why they're so obnoxious in the first place.

| MDPC Standard Issue Leather Jacket
The MDPC issues a standard black leather jacket to all of its crew members. The jacket is of rugged but flexible bantha hide, and is designed to tolerate a great deal of normal wear and tear. The jackets have a simple, clean cut design, featuring a front zipper with a fold over flap, and a small pocket on the left arm. A rank insignia is worn on the right arm, along with an MDPC patch and any tour of duty patches. The jackets are slightly oversized to fit comfortably over a pressure suit, and the neck, wrist and torso holes are equipped with clipping mechanisms to attach to either shipsuits or vacuum suits. Each MDPC standard issue leather jacket also has a removable bantha wool lining for cold environments, and comes with a matching pair of insulated black leather gloves. All items are treated to resist the slightly moist atmosphere aboard the Silver Hawk, and are completely waterproof.
The Murky Depths Privateering Company does not issue official dress uniforms. Instead, each crew member receives three black shipsuits and one tan shipsuit. Formal uniform consists of the tan shipsuit and the standard issue leather jacket, with a blaster pistol worn on the right hip, and a vibrodagger sheathed on the left hip. At military assemblies, boarders wear their stun batons on belt loops, and carry their carbines with vibroblades attached. At other functions, they wear a standard blaster pistol, and their vibroblade, if appropriate.

| MDPC Reinforced Leather Jacket
The MDPC also issues a reinforced leather jacket for combat situations. These jackets have thick gray piping in the torso and back areas, which are protected by standard flak vest material. The combat jackets have no pockets, but feature clips to mount directional lumas, tools, and bandoliers. They provide +1D protection against physical attacks, and +1 protection against energy attacks. All crew members except boarders are issued reinforced leather jackets as their primary combat protective gear.

| Armored Vacsuit
Murky Depths Privateering Company boarders use armored vacuum suits for protection in combat. These suits provide full body protection, and are reinforced against the effects of energy weapons. Boarder armor is matte black in color, and has hardpoints for attaching lumas, ammunition bandoliers, grenades, sheaths, holsters and other necessary assault gear. They contain small pressurized tanks that hold a 10 hour supply of air, and have have gill-like slits that automatically seal when the atmospheric pressure drops below a certain threshold. Armored vac suits are flexible enough to avoid a Dexerity penalty, and provide +1D protection against all attacks.

| MDPC Rank Insignia
The Murky Depths Privateering Company issues several standardized patches to its crewers. The rank patch is the most prominent. They are worn on the right sleeve of all gear, including shipsuits, leather jackets, and vacsuits, and are painted on hard items like boarding armor.
There are two distinct variations on rank bars. Wavy bars indicate an officer, flat bars indicate a general crew member. This scheme has led to the crew custom of calling officers "waves", and general crewers "flats". This slang extends to ranks, as well, with the number and type of bars substituting for rank. For instance, a "double wave" is a Lieutenant, and a "triple flat" is a Master Shipman or Master Sergeant.

| Lumas
All MDPC personnel are issued lumas as part of their standard toolkit. Each unit has a neck that pivots 90 degrees, and will shine for 24 hours with a standard power pack. Most crew members carry them clipped to their shipsuit or armor, although the boarders are fond of mounting lumas on their carbines. MDPC blast helmets also have small clips for lumas, should the need arise.
