I hate Coruscant. As spectacular as it looks from orbit, glittering with trillions of warm lights, the capitol is the most crowded, unfriendly place that I've ever visited. I'm not even sure how I survived advanced tactical training there. If it were up to me, we would have let the Empire keep Coruscant and set up shop somewhere like Tattooine. I hear the climate is dry and the natives are friendlier. I'd prefer Tuskan Raiders to politicians any day. Perhaps I don't mean to be so gruff. I just feel better getting out of that cramped environment. Even the sky is cluttered. My conversation with the General Ministry went well, and our Letter of Marque is signed and official. Mr. Limfror was quite helpful, even though it took me days to get an appointment with him. Now, our seal is registered and it's time to strike out for open space and the dangers beyond. I'll feel safer in Imperial customs zones than I did on Coruscant--at least I know what their intentions are. I haven't been in contact with Eradash yet, but I trust the shake-down cruise into the Valdriir trade route is going well. Commander Tessadrone is efficient, and if there are faults with the crew's abilities, he'll find them in short order. Once they've completed their little vacation, we'll be prepared for some serious combat. I look forward to leading such a motivated, determined crew. Since I've been back on Corellia, I've spent a few more days practicing with the remote. As much as I loathed that little shock sphere before, I hate it even more now. Apparently the blasted thing malfunctioned, and when I fell to the ground it shot me over a half dozen times. Two days later my rib cage is still aching from the shocks. Deemo thinks I'm improving, but he said that after a couple lums. Of course, after a couple of lums my ribs don't ache nearly as much...
