Two days ago MDPC joined the Blackmoon Mercenary Guild. The guild gives us access to numerous New Republic and private contracts. With the MDPC Council's permission, we have joined Blackmoon and accepted our first mission.

As I write this log, our tweeters patrol the grassland and forest of Brentaal. I have accepted a contract with BlasTech corporation to provide security and escort for a shipment of E-Web repeating blasters to the Republic military on Chandrilia. I had made preparations for an extended security mission but that proved unnecessary. The cargo will be moved out the day after tomorrow.

I remain the most concerned about sabotage of the shipment. A ground attack would be a foolish gesture by any opponent, particularly with the Silver Hawk in low orbit. It is also possible that we will be ambushed enroute to Chandrilia.

On a positive note, the marines are looking refreshed and alert. I think the change of pace will help them greatly. It will also give us an opporunity to explore some ground-based techniques for the tweeters, which up until now we have only used for boarding operations.
